Minnesota – Todd Braufman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Latitude Real Estate Advisors and leader of the firm’s Latitude Cannabis Real Estate Advisory Group, has been recognized by BestAgents.us as a 2026 Top Commercial Real Estate Advisor.
A respected commercial real estate executive with more than thirty-five years of industry experience, Braufman specializes in tenant representation, corporate real estate strategy, portfolio optimization, site selection, lease negotiations, financial analysis, and complex transaction management. Throughout his career, he has advised corporations, investors, and emerging growth companies on real estate decisions that support operational efficiency, capital preservation, and long-term enterprise value.
Braufman’s experience includes oversight of real estate strategies encompassing more than fifty million square feet across over three hundred locations nationwide. He has participated in more than 1,200 commercial real estate transactions totaling over 11 million square feet and has managed large-scale projects involving office, industrial, logistics, distribution, retail, multifamily, cannabis and development assets throughout the United States and around the globe.
As President and Chief Executive Officer of Latitude Real Estate Advisors, Braufman works closely with business leaders to align real estate strategy with organizational goals. His advisory services extend beyond traditional brokerage, incorporating enterprise footprint planning, capital allocation strategies, incentive negotiations, sale-leaseback structures, portfolio restructuring, and occupancy cost reduction initiatives. His work has helped organizations improve operational performance while achieving measurable cost savings and increased flexibility.
Braufman founded Latitude Cannabis Real Estate Advisors, a specialized advisory practice focused on the evolving cannabis sector. The firm provides strategic real estate guidance to cultivators, manufacturers, processors, distributors, testing laboratories, and retail operators navigating complex regulatory environments. Drawing upon extensive expertise in commercial real estate, project management, site selection, zoning, licensing, compliance, and facility optimization, Braufman helps cannabis businesses establish scalable real estate solutions that position them for sustainable growth and long-term success.
Prior to founding Latitude Real Estate Advisors, Braufman held senior leadership positions with several nationally recognized commercial real estate firms, including AREA Corporate Real Estate Advisors, Cushman & Wakefield, and UGL Equis. During his career, he has represented major corporate portfolios and advised clients on expansion, consolidation, relocation, and strategic growth initiatives across local, national, and international markets.
Braufman is also the founder, President and CEO of Spinnakr.ai, an AI Agency that provides intelligent systems for modern businesses. The agency assists companies in utilizing AI seamlessly in operations, workflows, business development and overall growth of their businesses.
In addition to his business accomplishments, Braufman has dedicated decades to nonprofit leadership, governance, and fundraising. Over a thirty-five-year period, his involvement with eleven nonprofit organizations has contributed to approximately $76 million raised in support of healthcare, education, youth development, social services, and international humanitarian relief efforts. His leadership has included major capital campaigns, executive advisory roles, and community development initiatives.
Braufman earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed international business studies at the London School of Economics.
His professional achievements have been recognized through numerous industry honors, including CoStar Power Broker Awards, Top Producer of the Year Awards, Transaction of the Year Awards, Annual Client Satisfaction Awards, Rookie of the Year recognition, the 2025 Best in Real Estate Magazine Best Commercial Real Estate Agents Award, and Pinnacle Professional Membership in the Inner Circle Continental Who’s Who Registry.

Michael has built a multi-faceted real estate career over the past 32 years in land development, corporate tenant representation, development, and corporate strategic planning.
Michael’s role at Latitude Real Estate Advisors consists of advisory and user representation services as well as leading our owner’s representation project management team. Michael’s clients include U.A. Plumber’s Union Local #15, the cities of Brooklyn Park and Elk River, as well as Wright County.
Previously, Michael dedicated four years of his career to corporate strategic planning and commercial real estate tenant representation as Vice President at Keewaydin Real Estate Advisors. His clients included CenterPoint Energy, United Hardware, Mesaba Airlines, MLT and Target Corporation. In 2006, Michael struck out on his own and created Sedley Development Partners, L.L.C. Michael’s experience at structuring complex transactions, and his expertise in managing the entitlement land development process and project construction, provide important value-add services to IAG Commercial clients.
In 2012, Michael’s career focused on large-scale developments, site selection and negotiation, entitlement and architectural and civil engineering design, as well as project management. He has significant experience working with municipal staff, planning commissions and councils in the entitlement process.
Michael earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Ohio State University. After Ohio State, he then earned his M.B.A. at The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. His background consists of leading the land development team as Vice President of Land at Pulte Homes in Minnesota and additional experience as Sales and Marketing Manager at Ryland Homes in Minnesota and Ameri-con Homes in Northeast Ohio.
